This is necessary to: ·Remove any precipitated solids or sludge ·Ensure that the valve works and does not block-up It is recommended that blowdown is disposed of by piping it to a blowdown receiver, which is constructed as a Pressure Vessel from carbon steel and supplied with relevant certification. Exhaust Heads - Fitted to vertical open ended steam vent pipes, they are designed to safely discharge dry steam to the atmosphere at low velocity.     CALORIFIERS STORAGE & NON-STORAGE Range Storage & Non-Storage Calorifiers are made to order and sized according to your output requirements. Poor quality air can lead to shortened air tool life and increased manufacturing times. PipelinePeople will supply the following range of equipment to ensure that air of the right quality is delivered to the point of use ·Filters & Regulators ·Relief Valves ·Flow Meters ·Tube Fittings ·Lubricators ·Tubing & Hoses       CONDENSATE & HEAT RECOVERY SYSTEMS FLASH VESSELS 'For Maximising Energy Efficiency' ·Condensate Pumps - Steam or Electrically powered pumps which are designed to recover clean condensate, so that it can be returned to the boiler house for further use. ·Flash Steam Vessels - Flash steam separated from condensate within the vessel can be recovered for use in low pressure steam systems eg heating. Flash recovered from boiler blowdown can be used to save energy and chemicals which would otherwise be put to drain and wasted. ·Plate Heat Exchangers -Under certain conditions it may be more economical to pass the blowdown directly through a heat exchanger without using a flash vessel.
